Manthorpe take top industry award

3rd December 2020 was a big night for the housebuilding industry, hosted virtually for the first time, the annual Housebuilder Awards recognise innovation and excellence and have become the most coveted in the industry.

Last year, Manthorpe were Highly Commended in this category but this year they went one better! Already winners of the ‘Best New Product’ at the Housebuilder Product awards, Manthorpe won the prestigious Product of the Year award, beating off competition from the eight other category winners to be crowned champion for the REDSHIELD® Cavity Barrier.

Recognising the need for clear definitions of a product’s purpose Manthorpe created REDSHIELD® a true one-product cavity barrier which fulfils the fire integrity and insulation requirements of Part B without relying on additional lining materials along with providing the necessary thermal and DPC properties of a cavity closer.
