bott cubio: bott provide workplace storage solutions for brand new technology facility

Truro & Penwith College is largely respected as being one of the best tertiary colleges in the country, combining both sixth form and further education for young people in Cornwall.

In partnership with the South West Institute of Technology (SWIOT), the college has recently seen a brand new £7 million technology facility open at their Truro campus.

The SWIOT was granted Government approval in April 2019, as part of a national network of technology-focused teaching hubs.

The state-of-the-art Valency building, brings together engineering workshops, specialist welding facilities, CNC machinery, electronic & digital laboratories and a variety of learning spaces - all in parallel with the best in the UK.

Having previously used bott equipment in their former workshop, the college chose bott as their workplace storage partner to kit out the new facility. An extensive selection of benches, cupboards and cabinets from the durable bott cubio range have been used - with high-quality, great design and ‘British made’ being defining factors.

Thousands of students from across the region will benefit from training in the technical subjects, with the bott equipment helping to deliver first-class education for the next generation of technicians & engineers.
