Take a look at our case studies to see how we help manufacturers get ready for BIM!

Don’t just take our word for it when we say we know a thing or two about BIM. Take a look at our case studies and testimonials to see how we have helped manufacturers, both big and small; get ready for BIM - with the highest quality BIM objects out there!

Fabricated Products is a manufacturer of boiler house and plant room equipment and is the only UK manufacturer of quality Air & Dirt separation equipment. Operating within various industries throughout the UK, Europe, Scandinavia, the Middle East and as far as Australia, their dedicated no-nonsense approach means that they ensure they deliver goods to specification, to schedule and right first time.

In 2013, on learning that BIM would be coming into effect for government contracts in 2016, Fabricated Products started to explore the possibility of having objects created and hosted in a BIM library. The company prides themselves on their high levels of customer service and their research informed them that they would be the first in their field to be included in a BIM library, and that adopting BIM two years ahead of schedule would put them at the forefront, and on a good footing for the future.

“The service Fabricated Products receives from bimstore is second to none” Mick Slocombe, Sales Office Manager, Fabricated Products

After meeting with potential partners for content creation, and following an informative and well-received presentation, the decision was made to proceed with bimstore. The first content created was for their MagVent and CleanVent range of Air and Dirt Separators and over time, their range of BIM objects has expanded to include their chemical dosing pot and hydronic headers in response to requests by consultants. Fabricated Products quickly realised the benefits and value of BIM objects being produced for quality products and it has always been part of their plan to have 100% of their products hosted on bimstore.co.uk.

“bimstore’s presentation was extremely informative and explained well. We decided to go with bimstore.co.uk as the name of the company says it all!” Mick Slocombe, Sales Office Manager, Fabricated Products

Fabricated Products have found that BIM implementation has helped to significantly raise the profile of their innovative product range and due to the high quality BIM content they have made available to consultants, specifications have increased. themselves on a level playing field with their larger national competitors in terms of innovation and service.
