Description

Reliance Valves Cast Iron Y Type strainer prevents foreign matter such as dirt and scale from entering pipes, valves or pumps etc, to significantly improve the lifespan and reliability of system equipment. The Y type strainer is suitable for use in heating, chilled water and hot and cold potable water systems. Manufactured from stainless steel, the strainer basket is designed for long life and a drain tapping is provided to allow draining prior to removing the basket.

  • Prevents damaging foreign matter such as dirt and scale from entering piping systems
  • Robust cast iron strainer in GG25 for durability, ensuring a long and reliable service life
  • Suitable for use in heating, chilled water and hot and cold potable water systems with temperatures from -10°C to +110°C, below 0°C only for water with added antifreeze fluids.
  • Simple installation with PN16 flanges according to EN1092-2 (ex DIN2533)
  • Lengths according to EN558-1 series 1 (ex DIN3202 F1)
  • Corrosion-resistant epoxy coating (min. 200µm)
  • Stainless steel AISI 304 strainer mesh for long life with 1.5mm diameter round holes up to DN150
  • With 1/2" threaded blanking plug for draining before removing the strainer
  • Free of CE marking for DN≤300 (cat. according to Art. 4.3 Dir. 2014/68/EU)
