Description

ParaWeb® geostrips for MacRes® MSE system, are planar reinforcements manufactured from high tenacity, multifilament polyester yarns aligned and co-extruded with LLDPE (Linear Low-Density Polyethylene) to form polymeric strips.

Two different series are available: ParaWeb 2 and ParaWeb M. The two series are constituted of the same materials but have different thickness and width, suitable when increased pull-out strength is required. The ParaWeb® soil reinforcing strips are also available in a wide range of tensile strengths in order to fit the specific project needs and design requirements. The strips are typically manufactured in coils with a length of 100 m. Each roll is categorized by grade and color-coded labels.

The polyethylene coating allows the use of ParaWeb® in highly alkaline environments, such as recycled concrete or lime-stabilized backfill materials.

The mechanical and physical properties and the strength reduction factors (used in the calculation of the long-term design tensile strength) are supported by independent laboratory testing performed worldwide. ParaWeb® is BBA (British Board of Agreement) and NTPEP (National Transportation Product Evaluation Program) certified.

The installation of ParaWeb® is simple and fast: the coil is unrolled towards the rear side of the panels, wrapped around the connection and then be pulled back towards the string line, forming a V-shape configuration.

ParaWeb® is covered by Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) certificate.
