Zip Water Releases Latest Sustainability Report, Showcasing a Year of Innovation and Environmental Progress
Zip Water has released its latest Sustainability Report, highlighting a year of innovation and impact across product design, manufacturing, and operations - with clear benefits for both commercial clients and home consumers.
Zip Water maintains its 5 key commitments linked to the UN's Sustainable Development Goals:
Health & wellness through safer and cleaner drinking water

Covering the reporting period from January 1 to December 31 2024, the report outlines how the business is reducing its environmental footprint while delivering high-performance hydration solutions across homes, workplaces, hospitality venues and public spaces.
Key achievements include:
The launch of Zip’s most sustainable HydroTap yet, featuring low Global Warming Potential (GWP) refrigerants to meet evolving climate regulations
The transition to dry manufacturing for its core product range, eliminating 100% of wastewater from the process
Continued investment in renewable energy, including a solar expansion at Zip’s NSW manufacturing facility
Major progress in the removal of unnecessary packaging materials and increasing the use of recyclable content
The launch of our superior filtration - protecting consumers against harmful contaminants
Ongoing leadership in design for sustainability, with verified Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) and new consumer tools like the HydroTap Impact Calculator
