Striking and energising lighting scheme at Crow Wood Leisure

Crow Wood is a luxury hotel and leisure facility set in 40 acres of private parkland in Burnley, Lancashire. 

The complex boasts 76 bedrooms, wedding and conference facilities, award winning restaurants, an equestrian centre along with a spa and leisure facilities.  

As part of a £2 million refurbishment, Crow Wood Leisure have expanded the gym offering by developing a state-of-the-art yoga, aerobics, and immersive spin studio. Other areas for cardio and strength training were also within the scope of the renovation. 

Pettit Singleton Associates were enlisted to undertake the mechanical and electrical specification of the project. Steon enjoyed a close collaboration them and were involved in conceptualising and designing of the new lighting layout throughout the leisure facilities.

The aim of this major refurbishment was to create a striking and energising space for members to enjoy. It was essential that the lighting design had an inspirational impact on members whilst reflecting the affluence and reputation of the Crow Wood estate.
