Stelrad has developed a reputation over the years for its innovative approach to helping designers, specifiers, installers and their customers select the right radiators for exactly the right room in a home, so it should come as no surprise that with the growing influence of AI in everyone’s lives, they have now released their AI Room Visualiser software. It’s free of charge and available on both the company’s Home and Professional web sites.
Aimed at enhancing the customer experience and to aid decision making, users select height, length, type, and a colour on screen, then they can click ‘View in 3D visualiser’ by scanning a QR code, opening the product in Google/Apple’s AR viewer and view the exact radiator they are thinking of buying in their own room. It’s an instant visual experience of the radiator in exactly the position you wish.
The benefits are many. It helps customers make confident decisions by seeing products in a real‑life context. It supports both Trade and Home customers. It enhances the digital buying journey and reduces uncertainty around sizing, colour and fit. And it demonstrates Stelrad’s commitment to digital innovation and customer focused tools.
This new AI based device created in partnership with BIMStore works on both Android and Apple devices.
Marketing Director Chris Harvey says: “BIMStore was selected due to its expertise in 3D web development, its involvement in creating our existing 3D model content, and the bespoke technology developed during this project. This tool is part of Stelrad’s wider digital strategy to modernise the customer journey and support both trade professionals and homeowners with clearer, more intuitive product visualisation.”
Anyone can have a go at using the new tool by heading for https://www.stelrad.com/radiators/designer-radiators/ - make sure you select all the variables - then the button will show. It’s another sector leading option to make getting the right radiators simpler than ever.
