Mount Lighting's Avent Interiors Showroom, Bristol

This Mount Lighting project case study is focused on Avent Interiors showroom in Bristol. Avent Interiors is a family-owned interior fit-out and refurbishment company with a full turnkey offering, from the concept through to the completion. When it came to upgrading their own Bristol showroom, they wanted a space that worked as hard as it looked. A place that could inspire clients, support the team, and showcase exactly what clever workplace lighting installations and smart commercial lighting designs can do.

Project Requirements

Avent Interiors' showroom wanted a lighting design project that would work across three distinct spaces. Each mezzanine floor had its own identity, which needed to be reflected whilst showcasing a variety of styles and specifications throughout.

The lower floor is a functional office space, calling for simple but effective LED panel lighting. The middle floor needed a balance of style and substance, with practical lighting that had more of a design flair. The upper mezzanine level is the showstopper. As a staff breakout area and events space, which is designed to impress, the lighting needed to wow and showcase creativity and design.

Otto Avent, the Managing Director at Avent Interiors, explained how they knew Mount Lighting were the one for the job:

The Highlights

Project Conclusion

The finished scheme met the brief perfectly. It was functional where it needed to be, playful where it could be, and bold where it had to be.

Simple LED panels were installed on the lower mezzanine floor, providing complete functionality and creating a comfortable and productive space for staff members. Large Halo lights over seating on the middle floor creates zones that not only light up the space but also adds to the wow-factor.

Globe pendants were installed in the stairway, adding eye-catching depth and elegance. On the top floor, Floe-Line’s curved shapes were used in meeting rooms, while individual and geometric T-Line lighting helped create vibrant and fun staff breakout areas. All can be controlled wirelessly with the Casambi system, giving Avent Interiors full control over the lighting.

Otto Avent was extremely impressed with the final results of this Bristol office lighting project.

The result is lighting that works on every level. Literally. Avent Interiors now has a showroom that acts as a living portfolio of what’s possible when functionality and creativity come together.
