Kris Atkinson promoted to Technical Director at bimstore

One of our longest-standing team members receives promotion!

One of our longest-standing team members and previously our Head of Content, Kris Atkinson has recently been promoted to Technical Director in recognition of his continued efforts at bimstore.

The Technical Director role has been established to ensure that bimstore retains its reputation for the best and most consistent content in the UK. Here at bimstore we don’t just meet, we aim to exceed current industry standards. All of our content is built in accordance with our bimbible document which guarantees the consistency and quality of objects hosted on bimstore and whether a manufacturer is looking for content creation from scratch or needs existing BIM families upgraded, we’re here to help. With our background as specifiers, we know BIM and more importantly, we know how products will be best utilised in BIM.

Kris has been with Space Group since 2008 and has a wealth of experience - not only as an Architectural Technician - but also as an extremely highly skilled Autodesk Revit user. Having been with bimstore since its inception, his knowledge and expertise makes him one of the most experienced professionals in the industry.

Throughout 2016 bimstore will continue to grow across the UK, and increasingly internationally, and Kris’s role as Technical Director will be essential in ensuring we are at the forefront of industry standards.
