Still plenty of time to get tickets for this week’s event
Thursday 11th June 2015 sees BIM Show Live for Manufacturers returning to The Building Centre in London.
This exclusively-tailored one day event will enable manufacturers to learn more about the process and advantages of digitising their products and even those manufacturers who have already started on their BIM journey may find the event useful. If you're still to get your tickets, simply follow this link to buy your tickets on Eventbrite.
BSL4M will follow the tried and tested format of it’s big sister, BIM Show Live and the four stages of BIM: Define & Validate, Design & Prototype, Manufacture & Assemble and Operate & Maintain. In being guided along this complete lifecycle, manufacturers will learn just how important prescriptive components have become to the success of BIM-enabled projects.
Rob Charlton, CEO of Space Group will kick off the event and cover the first stage ‘Define & Validate’. This will be swiftly followed by Adam Ward, Technology Director of BIM.Technologies, who will be conducting a presentation about Stage 2 ‘Design & Prototype’.
After lunch attendees will hear from Jan Shepherd, the Global Brand Director at GROHE, leading provider of premium bath fittings and showers, kitchen taps, thermostats and sanitary systems. Renowned for its quality, technological innovation and stylish design, GROHE continues to set the standard and is committed to being at the forefront of change in the construction sector. As part of this commitment, GROHE provide a large selection of BIM data for high-quality sanitary products to support planners and architects.
The final session of the day “Operate & Maintain” will be presented by Rob Charlton and will provide an insight into how BIM components can aid asset and facilities management workflows.
Of course, with the bimstore team also on hand manufacturers will also have plenty of opportunity to get their burning BIM questions answered.
