The S-ASX-VP i55 is robust light commercial air source heat pump designed to offer optimal operating efficiency and low running costs. The unit has an outstanding SCOP of 4.21 at 35°C and can deliver seamless heat power output of between 21kW to 57kW at condition A7W35 due to the seamless operation of the single in-built inverter scroll compressor. At this air temperature the COP varies between 4.91 and 4.05 from minimum to maximum thermal output. The unit is capable of generating up to 65°C outlet flow temperature and can be used to generate useful space heating or as a source for DHW provision. The control system allows the units to be operated in cascade allowing up to 16 units.
As standard the unit is supplied without a circulating flow pump although this can be offered as an extra to be supplied loose and installed and wired by others in external pipework.
