B125 Drive Drain

Description

The conveyance of water from impermeable hardstanding areas around domestic properties is important to mitigate the risk of urban flooding. Often however these areas can be subject to vehicular traffic, such as on driveways and private parking decks.

The Manthorpe Drive Drain linear drainage channel is manufactured from 100% recycled plastic. Rated to the B125 classification as per the requirements of the EN 1433 standard, making the units ideal for use in low traffic areas such
as domestic driveways.

Also suitable for both pedestrian and cyclist use on patios and pathways around the domestic environment thanks to its textured anti-slip finish.

The tapered load supports help to effectively distribute any vehicular loading on the grates ensuring ongoing strength and the innovative linear clip design ensures the grates are
securely retained in the channel in use.

The 1 metre long linear units are quick and easy to connect together for continuous runs, with a 4 way junction unit available for 90° corners, T-junction or crossed intersections,
along with end caps for terminating the runs. Onward flow out to a domestic drain can be achieved through integral 4" vertical outlets in the base of the channel and junction unit, or via a 40mm horizontal connection on the end caps.
