At Bimstore, sustainability is embedded in everything we create, curate, and share. We believe that data has the power to drive meaningful change in the built environment, and our responsibility is to make that data transparent, reliable, and easy to act on.

As a certified B Corporation, Bimstore meets high standards of environmental and social performance, accountability, and transparency. This recognition reinforces our long-term commitment to reducing emissions and promoting responsible digital practice.
We are part of a wider group of companies that share a collective focus on environmental responsibility and the decarbonisation of the built environment. Together, we are working towards net-zero targets through measurable actions and continuous improvement.
Our role extends beyond simply providing BIM content. Bimstore actively aids specifiers, architects, and designers to make more informed, low-carbon decisions through the tools and data we provide. For example, we have introduced Bimstore Dials to each product to bring sustainability data into focus and enable potential specifiers to make an informed decision when creating their digital designs. The dials display the following three sections.

Additionally, every product page on Bimstore now includes a dedicated Sustainability and Environmental Data section. This allows manufacturers to share clear and accurate information about their products, emphasising their credibility and environmental impact.
Manufacturers can also upload Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) directly to their profiles. Not only does this encourage specifiers to make more conscious and responsible design decisions, but it also demonstrates manufacturer accountability.

With these features in place, we have made it easier for specifiers to identify products that are sustainable and reliable. Users can easily filter their searches for EPDs, Recycled Content or Re-use Potential.
On top of this, we champion manufacturers who are leading the way with sustainable innovation. Through our insights section, BIMCRUNCH magazine, and manufacturer campaigns we highlight innovation, collaboration and progress across the industry. By showcasing the best of manufacturers’ products, we intend to inform and encourage others to take the steps towards a greener future in design and construction.

Each year, Bimstore takes part in _shift, our group’s annual climate conference dedicated to accelerating the decarbonisation of the built environment. The event brings together architects, manufacturers, researchers, and policymakers to share ideas, explore new technologies, and discuss practical routes to net zero.
We actively invite our manufacturing partners to attend and join the conversation, offering a valuable opportunity to connect directly with specifiers and sustainability leaders. By engaging with _shift, manufacturers can showcase their innovations, learn from peers, and play an active role in shaping a lower-carbon future for the construction industry.
