What is Bimstore?
Bimstore is a library full of high-quality, industry-standard BIM content that can be accessed for free by its users.
We have a fast and ever-growing community of hundreds of thousands of specifiers who download BIM content daily from over 350 manufacturers that host objects on our platform.
All 100 of the Architects' Journal top 100 architecture firms use Bimstore.
How do I sign up?
It's completely free to join Bimstore as a user.
Click 'Join' at the top of the page and enter your details to create your account.
How do I use it?
We have a user-friendly website that makes it effortless to find the objects you are looking for.
We only upload high-quality content that is signed off by our manufacturers and we also provide you with the accompanying product literature.
Find tailored content collections, or create your own and invite colleagues to collaborate with you.
Searching for objects
Enter your search terms into the search bar on the homepage to find objects e.g. 'door'.
You can also click 'Browse' at the top of the page to see all of the products hosted on the site and narrow down your search with our selection of filters.
To download an object, simply click the cloud icon underneath it or click the object itself to find out more information.
Save time with Collections
For your ease, we regularly create and update our Collections. A collection is a selection of BIM content that follows a particular theme, for example, 'kitchens' or something more specific like 'radiators'.
Go to the 'Collections' tab to download them. You can also create your own collections to share with others via the 'Control Centre'.
Search by manufacturer
If you know exactly which manufacturer you want an object from then you can click the 'Manufacturers' tab to find them.
Keep up-to-date
Use our 'Resources' section to check out the latest manufacturer news and also use our 'Forum' to take part in discussions with our community.

We have a plug-in for Autodesk Revit meaning you can access bimstore content without having to leave your software.
