Today we wanted to tell you a little bit more about another new arrival on bimstore.

Recticel Insulation are the UK’s leading manufacturer of innovative PIR insulation solutions. Based at a state-of-the-art facility in Stoke-on-Trent, the company is part of the Belgium-based International Recticel Group, one of the world’s largest producers of polyurethane products. Their reputation for quality technical knowledge is maintained by their support team, who are able to advise on the PIR insulation product that is most suited to your project. The team ensure that your specification complies with the latest Building Regulations and other carbon reduction programmes as well as providing condensation risk analyses, U-Value calculations and advice on installation best practices. Recticel Insulation products are available nationwide through well-known suppliers and independent merchants.

Working with bimstore to create and update more than 100 objects, Recticel’s Technical Services Manager, Paul Forrester, commented: “The bimstore team includes experienced specifiers who know what users expect from BIM content. There are currently eight new listings live on bimstore for Recticel Insulation, including the following products;

Eurothane Eurodeck - Benefitting from a high compressive strength, this product is suitable for loads associated with pedestrian maintenance traffic.

Eurothane FP - This product features an embossed aluminium foil facing that gives a Class 0 rating for zero surface spread of flame making it suitable for use in ventilated rainscreen cladding systems and soffit lining applications.

Eurothane GP - Whether it’s a pitched roof, floor or framed wall, Eurothane GP is the ideal choice. Lightweight, and easy to cut, handle and install, it is available in a variety of thicknesses to suit most specifications and ensure that the requirements of thermal regulations can be achieved or exceeded.

Eurothane PL - Can be secured to walls with mechanical fixings or dot and dab adhesive, and mechanically fixed to the underside of pitched roofs. As a factory bonded product, it can be used in new build projects or to thermally upgrade existing buildings.

Eurowall + -Eurowall + is an innovative full fill cavity wall solution that changes the way your wall works without changing the way you work. It has been certified by the BBA and also benefits from LABC Registered Detail certification. Eurowall Cavity -High performance rigid PIR insulation for partial fill cavity wall applications. Eurowall Cavity offers a traditional partial fill solution for use in new buildings and extensions to existing buildings. Unlike other insulation types, Eurowall Cavity will not degrade or deteriorate if exposed to moisture.

Powerdeck F -Market-leading, durable, tissue faced flat roof insulation. Benefitting from a high compressive strength it is suitable for loads associated with pedestrian maintenance traffic.

Powerdeck U -Features a unique bitumen coated fleece facing on both sides for optimum board stability. Benefitting from a high compressive strength it is suitable for loads associated with pedestrian maintenance traffic.
