Michelmersh win big at Brick Awards

bimstore manufacturer Michelmersh swept up at this year’s prestigious Brick Awards ceremony.

The 43rd annual awards, hosted by the Brick Development Association on the 13th November, recognises the best products throughout the industry.

The British manufacturers claimed the top prize in several categories including: Education, House Builder and Specialist Brickwork Contractor. Michelmersh were also commended or their work on the W1 London - 35 Marylebone High Street, Elephant Park, The Caxton at Buckingham Green, King’s College School Wimbledon - Music School and Dancy House projects.

The Royal College of Pathologists, designed by Bennetts Associates, specified a Michelmersh, Freshfield Lane Selected Dark brick and proudly won the award for Education. The new London headquarters for the Royal College of Pathologists is a flexible, environmentally efficient building. Located in the rapidly changing area of Aldgate on the city’s eastern fringes, the seven-storey building replaces an existing office block and represents the final phase in the College’s relocation from its former home in the West End.
