Manthorpe celebrate 'highly commended' product

  • Manthorpe celebrate 'highly commended' product

Bimstore manufacturer Manthorpe came away from the Housebuilder Awards 2019 with a ‘Highly Commended’ entry in the Product of the Year category.

The awards ceremony, which took place on the 24th October at the O2 in London, featured some of the most impressive manufacturers in the industry.

Manthorpe’s G965 Dual Extended Underfloor Vent was entered into the Product of the Year category after winning the Best Building Fabric Product award earlier this year.

A ‘well-designed, functional and user-orientated product which meets modern building requirements

Steve Heeley, Managing Director of Manthorpe Building Products, commented:

"We are delighted that the G965 has been recognised and acknowledged by the judging panel as a ‘well-designed, functional and user-orientated product which meets modern building requirements’, underpinning our commitment to deliver pioneering solutions to the building industry.”

Earlier this year, Manthorpe took steps towards minimising the amount of their waste being sent to landfill. By agreeing a three-year contract with Titan Resourcing, Manthorpe made a real statement of intent to eradicate waste.

Steve Wakelin, Operations Director, Manthorpe Building Products, commented: “We are delighted to be working with Titan Resource, the impact our business has on the environment is extremely important to us and so it was imperative that we work with a supplier who would help implement our ambition to achieve zero waste to landfill."
