“BIM DfMA and the black art of MEP”

On March 9th, bimstore will be joining thinkBIM at their joint event with CIBSE which will focus on how building services contractors and manufacturers are developing their digital processes and content to assist project teams.

thinkBIM is run by the Centre for Knowledge Exchange at Leeds Beckett University and is a network for Building Information Modelling advocates and leaders. thinkBIM champions the acceleration of BIM adoption and development through focused events, training and online discussion groups. The network is supported in its endeavours by a proactive group of sponsors, partners and individual ambassadors, all recognised as regional and national leaders in BIM.

As part of the Twilight seminar, bimstore will be talking about the work we do with major building services manufacturers and discussing why creating these objects is important for the industry and how they are now being used across the lifecycle of projects. There may even be talk about Product Data Templates – back in October bimstore and BOSCH announced the release of the first freely-distributed boiler BIM objects to be fully PDT-complaint.

Along with bimstore there will also be talks from G&H Building Services and Turner Townsend which you can read about on the event flyer. The Twilight seminar will be held at 17.30pm on Wednesday 9th March 2016 at Old Broadcasting House, Leeds Beckett University, Leeds, LS2 9EN.

It’s sure to be a popular event so make sure you secure your place today! You can book your ticket for the Twilight seminar by clicking HERE. We'll see you there!
