The UK’s original BIM library has arrived in the US!

It’s been a really busy month here at bimstore HQ but we’re so excited that the new site for bimstore.us is finally live!

You may, or may not know that bimstore started its story across the pond in England. We are the UK’s original BIM library however many of our manufacturers have an international presence and we’re also aware that our specifiers are a pretty well-travelled bunch, working on projects all over the world so taking bimstore global was naturally the next step for us.

We have completely rebuilt the bimstore site to enable the distribution of regionally specific content around the world. The launch of bimstore in the US is just the start for us and we have more countries in the pipeline for 2015.

If you’ve ever visited the UK bimstore site, you might have met our lovely friend Ermintrude. She would have dearly loved to be part of bimstore.us however she doesn’t really like flying so we’ve had to enlist a new friend to join the team, meet Bill our resident buffalo.

You’ll be seeing a lot more of Bill around the place!

To mark our arrival in the US we are proud to be gold sponsors of the RTC Building Content Summit being held today in Washington DC, and we’re also going to be exhibiting at Autodesk University 2015 in Las Vegas in December.

But that’s not all we’ve got planned, keep an eye out on here and on our new Twitter account @bimstoreUS as we’ll be sharing details of a very special VIP event in the near future!

We’re really proud of what we’ve achieved to date and we hope you enjoy our new site and what we have to offer. We love to talk and we’re a very friendly bunch so if you’ve got any questions or feedback about bimstore.us just drop us an email or a tweet and we’ll get straight back to you!
